13 Aug Olivia needs your help!
This is Olivia, she is fighting for her life and needs your prayers and donations. She was brought to Nala’s New Life Rescue today with no hope of survival when she arrived. She was found on a rural ranch and was given up for dead. Her feet were cold, her gums were white and she could not lift her head up. She is 8 weeks old and weighs just 2 pounds, she is literally a skeleton. But as Barbi rushed her to All Creatures Animal Hospital, Olivia would whimper when Barbi stopped petting her. She wants to live and is a very brave girl and a fighter. She is infected with every parasite including wicked Coccidia. Thankfully the hero to many of our animals, Dr. Mary Bressman was at the hospital and immediately performed a blood transfusion to try to save her life. The other hero in this is the dog who provided the blood for the transfusion, he is one of the vet techs’ dogs who was there today. All afternoon Olivia was quiet as she received the transfusion to start fighting her dangerous anemic condition.
