Polly update!

Polly update!

Polly is doing well after the reconstructive surgery on her nose. Our veterinarian Dr. Mary Bressman did an amazing job helping this poor girl. It was definitely caused by a hog tooth and with some time, antibiotics and pain meds should heal well.
We are so grateful to everyone who donated for her emergency surgery. For those who don’t know her story, Barbi and Amy were choosing dogs from Okeechobee Animal Control to transport to our partner in NH when they noticed Polly’s nose and could not leave her behind. Nala’s New Life Rescue specializes in taking dogs “with no other hope” and sometimes these dogs require expensive veterinary care so we appreciate the donations to help pay for this unexpected surgery.
Polly is available for foster or adoption, she is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and just needs some love to help her heal!
