Beautiful Callie is a 7 year old, medium-long haired calico cat whose owner recently passed away. She was adopted from the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast when she was just 3 months old, and spent the next 7 years of her life being loved and pampered by her very special person, who loved Callie so much! And her dying wish was that Callie be adopted into a wonderful, caring, loving home by people who would appreciate just how beautiful and sweet Callie is.
Callie doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She doesn’t hiss, bite or scratch, even though she has all her claws. She loves belly rubs, which is somewhat unusual for a cat. She is very affectionate, and when our volunteer went to visit her at All Creatures Animal Hospital, where she is being boarded while she waits for a foster or forever home, Callie was all purrs, even though she didn’t know this person who came to see her. And she is exquisite, with very unique markings, including a two-tone face.
Callie is a large cat, weighing about 16 pounds, and eats only dry food but also loves treats. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and in excellent health.
She is an indoor cat but loves to sit on an enclosed porch and watch the birds and squirrels. She also loves to climb to high places where she can look down from her perch, and enjoys playing with her interactive toys. She is very clean and always uses her litter box. Callie will make a wonderful companion for some lucky person or family. She is available for fostering or, even better, adoption.
