All of the dogs Nala’s rescues are special but every once in a while a dog grabs our heart and when he is adopted it is the best feeling ever. Such is the case with Otis, a 7 year old, 82 pound mixed breed who has a heart of gold. Every time Barbi visited the shelter in Okeechobee to choose dogs for transport, she would see Otis who was ever so hopeful that he would be chosen. Finally his lucky day came and he was transported to our rescue partner in New Hampshire with 4 other big dogs Nala’s rescued from Okeechobee Animal Control. Otis was adopted a week after he arrived and now has a second chance at life with his new family. We love you Otis!!
