Congratulations to Frankie and Sissy on their adoptions! We would like to thank everyone who applied for them but we really wanted to keep this sweet brother and sister together. They were rescued from Okeechobee Animal Control and all they had was each other. Many thanks to our great foster mom Tammie and her family who cared for Frankie and Sissy until we found the prefect forever home. And we are thankful for Mary and Micheal for adopting both and welcoming them into their home. We wish them a lifetime of happiness!

HERSHEY - Pictured with new brother Trooper
Congratulations to Hershey (on the left) on his adoption!
Hershey was one of the most neglected dogs we have ever rescued. Barbi was at Okeechobee Animal Control choosing dogs to go on our transport to Chicago and there was Hershey.
He was barely able to walk and completely starved, with very little hair. The manager said he had been going down hill every day and basically could not get up.
Nala’s New Life Rescue immediately took him to the vet and we found out, among other things, both of his back legs were injured. He may have been hit by a car.
With the help of our generous followers, Nala's was able to raise money for his surgery. After his surgery we put a plea out for someone to foster while he recovered . A year later and after much love and patience, his fosters have decided to adopt Hershey.
We wish Hershey and his new family a lifetime of happiness!
Many thanks to Dr. Padrone and Dr. Latimer for their expert surgery and to Dr. Mary Bressman for finding the solution to keep Hershey comfortable.
Congratulations to Chance on his adoption!
He is a wonderful boy and we would like to thank Steve, Jackie, their children, and dog Bella for welcoming Chance into their home. Many thanks to Nala's volunteers for helping Chance adjust when he arrived at our ranch. His dreams have come true and we wish Chance and his caring family a lifetime of happiness.
Congratulations to Spencer on his adoption!
Spencer (now named Benny) was rescued from Okeechobee Animal Control by Nala's New Life Rescue. He was a very sick boy and had given up hope that he would be rescued. After months of great veterinary care from Dr. Mary Bressman, and lots of love and attention from Nala's volunteers, Benny is now healthy and happy.
Many thanks to Benny's family, who adopted from Nala's years ago, for making him part of their family.
Spencer was a ranch favorite because of his sensitive, quiet nature and we are all thrilled that he has a forever home.
Congratulations to sweet Roxie on her adoption!
This brave little 14 year old girl has been blind most of her life and was in danger of being euthanized after her owner passed away in Okeechobee. A desperate call to Nala's led to a village of people stepping up. Our transporter picked her up, our foster mom Kathryn got her settled and Dr. Mary Bressman and groomer Patty made Roxie feel like a new dog.
Roxie also has 2 little doggie friends, Coco and Molly and we could not be happier for Roxie.
*Nala's New Life Rescue specializes in abandoned and forgotten senior dogs. We have many seniors dogs in foster homes. We appreciate everyones support as these seniors all require medications, special food and ongoing veterinary care.
Congratulations to Emma on her adoption!
Emma came to Nala's when she was abandoned. She has been very patient waiting for her forever home.
Many thanks to her foster family!
Congratulation to her new family including their dog Maggie, who welcomed Emma into their family.
She is adjusting to her new home and we wish Emma many years of happiness.
Congratulations to CeCe and Buddy on their adoption!
They are a bonded pair who came to Nala's from a volunteer whose family member passed away. Many thanks to their foster mom and to their new mom and dad, for welcoming them into their home.
We wish them both a wonderful life.
Shadow was brought into Nala's at the request of Shadow's family because his owner had just passed away.
Shadow now has four kids and a pool. He will, no doubt, have a wonderful new life.
Major was at Nala's for over a year. He is now with a loving family. Enjoying a big sister (Bugsy) and lots of chew time with his toys.
His new family loves him to pieces and cannot believe he was overlooked for so long.
From her new owner:
She’s living her best life now and such a sweetie. We don’t know exactly what happened to her but you can tell it must have been bad. She could have been thrown away but now she brings our family so much happiness!!!!!!
