Bear

Bear is a very handsome, lovable 8-month-old male Black Lab mix who is finally ready for a home of his own. Many of you might remember Bear when Nala’s did a fundraiser to raise money for his eye surgery. Bear came to Nala’s from a family who could not care for him and he was in serious pain from Entropion, a condition in which the eyelashes are turned inward and rubbed constantly on the eye. We immediately scheduled surgery with Dr. Mary Bressman and thanks to many of you we were able to raise the money to pay for his surgery and give this wonderful puppy a chance to live pain-free. Dr. Mary did an amazing job and after weeks of healing, he is now allowed to play with the other dogs. Bear is well-behaved and loves to play with other dogs. He weighs 48 pounds and due to his gentle nature and fun personality, will make a wonderful companion or family dog.
