Rebel

My name is Rebel and I would like to share my story. When I was younger, about 5 years ago, I found myself at Okeechobee Animal Control after spending the first years of my life tied outside. Some nice ladies from Nala’s New Life Rescue were there choosing dogs to go to another state to have a chance at new homes, I was not chosen because I was too big but one of the ladies took an interest in me and promised to come back for me which she did. I was adopted from Nala’s to a wonderful couple who eventually had 2 kids and they became my best friends. I slept with them and made sure they were safe. Then about a month ago my world was shattered when I was told mom and dad were getting divorced and I would need to go back to Nala’s. I am at their new ranch now and even though everyone is so nice to me and I have doggie friends and have fun, it is not like being in a home. I miss my family and even though I am 9 years old, I am healthy and I am hoping it is not too late to find another family. I am friendly, great with other dogs and children and I am well behaved.
